Chavez Mexican Cafe is the best Mexican food in Houston! It's absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and the waiters are friendly. They make sure you have what you need. The bathrooms are very clean, which is important to me. The Musica is great too! I've lived in Houston most of my life, and I visit often. I love Mexican food, and I look forward to dining here every time I visit Houston. View all feedback.

What Thee Houston Food Critic doesn't like about Chavez Mexican Cafe:
$30 for two watered down margaritas is absurd ? if I could give 0 stars I would. And who tf ends happy hour at 4 on a Friday!? I will never come back to this place and I do not recommend.
