I only come to Topeka once per year to visit family, but while I'm here, I'm always sure to stop at The Steam Engine several times. I must say that my experience has everything to do with the staff. It turns out I walked in 2 minutes before closing and didn't realize it. Sat down for almost 30 minutes before I left. They never said a word to me about them being closed. I'm so thankful to them because I was already in a tense situation and they didn't know. I will be back (during business hours of course).
