Took a taxi to Le Select - it looked lovely from the outside - however the Terrace was closed due to the cold weather. Inside decor was bland enough but that may have been due to the fact that the place was not busy. We both ordered Steaks as that is what we came out for - which were nice enough. We anticipated a pleasant Sunday evening dinner with friends. The ambience at Le Select is lovely and it is a legendary restaurant.Our waiter was very pleasant however it seemed that we had at least two other waitstaff. We were not sure who was doing what.The escargot in puff pastry was cold. The replacement was also cold. The entrées were average at best. We felt that we pay top dollar for a subpar evening.
