This Ecuadorian restaurant had great food. So sorry to hear that Rodrigo, the owner of the restaurant, passed away. Like Stephanie said he treated everyone like family. Thus review is for el hornero 2. With 4 people we spent $84 ordered 2 chickens and 1 soup. Chicken was dry, flavorless and it felt as if it was reheated in the microwave rather than freshly made. No mayo which is what gives it flavor and terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed. Not to mention the place looks so outdated, dirty and old. I prefer to go to the one in Kearny.
