The restaurant offers authentic Bavarian cuisine in the Lake Norman area. The pork roast with dumpling was delicious and tender, with generous portions that allowed for leftovers to enjoy the next day. The Gypsy Schnitzel was also satisfying. I stopped for a child's carry-out of Speckle for my daughter. The portion size was huge, so we shared the order. They don't do take-outs, but the waitress asked. The waitress was charming. The speckle was awful. I'm unsure if they gave the children leftovers the night before, but they were tasteless and socky.
