The grits that came with my fried catfish were served cold, making it impossible for the butter to melt into them as they desperately needed. The broccoli was also cold but was saved with a little salt added. Even after requesting piping hot grits, they still came out cold the second time around. Disappointed, I decided to switch to steak fries which turned out to be delicious.

I don't know what happened to Cracker Barrel. It used to be a fantastic spot for chicken-fried steak and biscuits with gravy, but not anymore! The gravy is tasteless, the biscuits are dry, and the cornbread isn't as sweet as it used to be. It's disappointing. I also ordered broccoli, but it arrived cold on a hot plate.
