No English menu and the Japanese was handwritten so I couldn't translate it. The owners were very friendly and welcoming but spoke limited English. Fortunately, they fully understood "vegan" and indicated which items were appropriate and available. I had lunch with a soy coffee and a gluten free vegan banana cupcake. Everything was fresh and tasty View all feedback.
What J doesn't like about Yamagoya:
The food was worth 4 stars or more but the dessert brought the ratings down for me. The set lunch was one of the better vegan lunches in Kyoto but the dessert sadly was disappointing. View all feedback.
