The Prospect Point Cafe in Stanley Park, Vancouver, offers a picturesque setting with views of the bridge and harbor. While the food is on the pricier side and the variety is average, the seafood dishes are surprisingly good. The cafe is spacious and the service is friendly, making it a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. With a selection of snacks, craft beers, and a full bar, it's a great place to stop for a break during a visit to the park. However, accessibility has become an issue due to new traffic patterns and construction in the area, which has affected the overall experience for some visitors. Despite mixed reviews on the food quality, the outstanding views and ambiance make Prospect Point Cafe a must-visit destination for those exploring Stanley Park.
The average evaluation of 4 shows that the guests have been very satisfied with the Prospect Point Cafe & Grill so far.
What Bob M likes about Prospect Point Cafe & Grill:
We used to love walking up here for luch, but the ravages of Covid seem to have caused most of the place to be closed. We did buy food from the cafe, and the seafood croissant was good. The ham and cheese baguette wasn't. Staff were neither welcoming nor engages and tables were dirty. View all feedback.
What David Thomas D doesn't like about Prospect Point Cafe & Grill:
This was an attractive destination restaurant in Vancouver in the past but, with the new traffic patterns in Stanley Park, it is now inaccessible to the disabled. The parking lot has been turned over to cyclists, who I suspect spend much less at the restaurant than those who were previously able to reach it by car. This is a huge loss for Stanley Park and the city of Vancouver. View all feedback.
