My review concerns the restaurant service offered by this property, not the hotel. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a splendid house characteristic of the Sacro Monte of Varese, with a panoramic terrace which can be used in good weather. It is difficult to find the destination and parking is a big problem. Friendly staff. The tower room has a great view down to the city and the lakes, but is €190 a night too much in September? The Italian breakfast was modest. The cleaning was not up to a good standard. The restaurant was the most expensive during our 10-day trip to Italy. We've been here once, we won't go here again.
