In a desert with not so many vegan options, L’Gros Luxe really seems like a diamond! They have vegan meat, vegan cheese, vegan burgers and even vegan poutins. Many places will offer you only a veggie sandwich, but still with mayonnaise (still has egg), but L’Gros Luxe has a fully vegan menu, actually! Not a restaurant for vegans. I was really looking forward to the vegan food, and I was disappointed. I ordered the vegan poutine and the cheese tasted like pieces of garlic so I took out the pieces of vegan cheese. Just the fries with the gravy tasted good but in my opinion $13 for that was too expensive.
