The halal tastes solid, but they do not give you nearly enough meat in the rice platters. Ordering a combo platter with extra protein, which adds $3, seemed to make no difference at all. It feels like 70% of the weight of the containers comes from the rice alone. I know of a few halal spots in the surrounding DMV that for the same price quite literally give you 2-3x the meat.
