I love the chili/nacho dog. The fries are wonderful. I'm not a big fan of root beer in general; however, everyone seems to love it. I typically don't order a drink because for some reason, they don't offer ice, and the drinks are cool at best. Was excited to try John's diner but it left us underwhelmed. Those taking the order were more engaged with one another than with those ordering. Surprisingly, they have no hamburgers. I tried the sloppy Joe, which was adequate but nothing spectacular. The others with me tried the chicken sandwich and Italian sausage.
