We have been before with friends and enjoyed our meal, and the carvery was very good value for money. This occasion we were very disappointed. We booked in advance for 4 people but the table given to us was right in the bar area and it was very busy and so noisy we couldn’t communicate with our friends who had come a good distance, the whole purpose of our meal!! we booked for 12.00 on Friday, maybe not the best day....
