The pancakes and the people are 5 star! I have stayed in a lot of hotels and in LA had lots of different service but at the 1 kitchen I had the most kind servers I had in LA. One of my servers that I forgot to ask his name but I remember greenish eyes and you had small dreads pulled back. The service at 1 hotels Is always excellent. The food amazing, linens, amenities all goodHowever avoid booking the “studio suite” if you like natural light. The rooms, while cavernous in size are dark caves and noisy they are on the “triangle” part of the building so only a small window.Otherwise the place is great but I’m claustrophobic so checking out early.
