Psalter's Restaurant takes inspiration from the famous Luttrell Psalter, a well-preserved medieval book housed in the British Museum. Named after Sir Geoffrey Luttrell, who commissioned the Psalter and had connections to Dunster Castle, our restaurant aims to blend historical legacy with modern British hospitality and cuisine. We prioritize using locally sourced, traceable ingredients with minimal food miles, focusing on simple preparation and elegant presentation. Additionally, we are dedicated to supporting the local economy in every way we can.

We recently stayed a couple of nights at The Luttrell Arms and dined in the Psalters Restaurant. We were told when booking accommodation that the kitchen was having a complete refit and there would be a limited menu. I chose the gourmet burger and my wife the linguine with salmon and pine nuts. Both meals were excellent and the service very good. View all feedback.

Lovely atmosphere for a family lunch but was disappointed by the food. We ordered the pheasant, mine was a little tough and mums was a little ****. Thinking that its wasn't cooked properly, told was they cleared the plates. Only to be told by the chef that it was supposed to served pink this wasn't pink it was ****.
