Texas Great Country Cafe is a rare jewel. The waiting staff is the best in the area. The food is always good and cheap (so you can add a little more to the top. The atmosphere is all Texas, even the tables are named for Texas cities. It only took a few visits before the waiting staff heard my name. Overall no better culinary experience in Lake Whitney area. I always thought the food was pretty good until I went there last week. I had a club sandwich and french fries, the sandwich was good but the French fries had a long hair fried into them. Made me sick and to top it off, they didn’t even have the decency to take the price of the fries off of my bill. Never go back, they gave me a $2.00 discount. Never never. Very inadequate..
