Nice walk along the canal. Nipped in for a drink and decided to have food. Really surprised how nice the food was, as I’m a food snob and pub food is not my thing. The food passed my expectations. What gillynelly doesn't like about The Crooke Hall:
We do come here pretty regular as we walk the dogs along the canal. Noticed they got new tables which they needed. My only negative is the cleanliness of the outside area . There's broken glass everywhere, litter , cig ends which if your sat eating a meal outside it becomes less appealing. Surely it only takes 10/15 mins for a quick brush up. I know it can be hard if there's only one member of staff manning the bar. View all feedback.
What a secret gem of a pub! Great canalside location, very dog friendly, fantastic 'Pub ' food...
Moored our boat opposite the pub so went over with our dogs to enjoy a drink and social interac...
