What connyj977 likes about Canal Tavern:
We had a lovely lunch here as a party of four. Despite also trying to juggle the demands of a hen party, staff were really attentive, friendly and quick. The barman (Isaac? was really lovely when taking the food order for my friend, who for various health reasons can’t eat this or that. We felt well looked after and really enjoyed our lunch here. We would certainly come again. View all feedback.
What J j rosie doesn't like about Canal Tavern:
This pub is in a great spot, but just seems to limp from one manager to the next. No wine list, so asked for large white wine assuming a house wine- 250ml 12.90?? So £38.70 a bottle Queried this with the man at the bar and yes it's correct and wasn't particularly nice. Apparently I should have been offered a choice when I asked for a wine list. We won't return. Sounds like the stags and hens love it though You might... View all feedback.
