"Terrible service, we arrived here to wait half an hour until our drinks come and then someone had to ask to order our food. the restaurant was not busy, had tables and had nothing to do in front of house personnel standing around. we were told that there is fish that ordered ppl on our table, only to be told minen later that there was not. very disappointing, service was appalling do not recommend!"

"Very disappointed with service and foods. Couldn’t believe that such nasty foods at that price??....used frozen tiny shrimps for your signature marina pasta. Are you serious? Don’t even show me fake smile if you don’t want to...still don’t understand why all people here give high praises. No offenses for people having limited experience but please get out of small town in Tassie and go and eat some decent Italian cuisine...and come back for correcting reviews."

"Restaurant was somewhat formal and elegant atmosphere. Me and by mother both had the duck breast, tartare and morton bay bug for entree, and donuts and creme brulee for desert, and a side of brussel sprouts. The food was generally good and well presented, the entree's were very tasty and so was the duck breast, though the meat could have been more tender. The creme brulee was exceptional, though the doughnuts were a let down, being overly-tough balls of dough with a distinct lack of the lemon curd, not particularly distinguishable from something you would get out of the supermarket bakery section. The brussel sprouts were also not particularly great, being simple brussel sprouts sitting in a bowl with a watery honey soup at the bottom, not affecting the flavour of the sprouts on the top but being overly sweet when it was in your spoon. Those items weren't what I'd consider restaurant quality. But besides that, the meal was quite tasty and left a good impression on us. Though the food was good, it serving sizes were quite small, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you have a big appetite, even after the 3 courses, sides and drinks we went to get takeaway afterwards. The restaurant had quite an extensive drink list, with a very good selection of wines, whiskies and cocktails, though it was on the expensive side - I would have like to try some of the Tasmanian single malts, but approaching $30 is a bit excessive considering some of the Lark whiskies are available at bars for less than $20. The wait staff were quite professional, and food was prompt, very good service in general. Overall, one of the better restaurants in town. I'd recommend anyone to try it, though due to the price it's not somewhere I'd eat regularly."

"We visited Henry's Bar and Restaurant prior to going to a show at he Princess Theatre. The food was excellent and the concept of choosing 3 courses off the menu for a set price was different but suited us and worked out economical. The meals were not a large size but with three courses we did not walk away hungry. Main complaint would be that we found the service slow considering there were not a lot of diners. We also had drinks ordered which after not being served with them 15 minutes later found we had been forgotten and had to ask for them again. The dining experience was good, food good with an Asian influence but service slow. We thought we were going to miss our show despite having allowed what would normally be plenty of time"
