"Located in an industrial part of Coburg, this is clearly a family run business. Staff are all fantastic , menu is extremely well priced considering the quality of the foods. I like how they tell you if the fish is imported or if it's Australian (nice move!). The lobster tail burger isn't on the menu but we ordered it and was amazing as was the burger with the lot. The fish is top quality and the owner is a real down to earth guy, happy to chat with everyone. The place isn't too noisy considering the size of it . Service is also very prompt with very generous portions. Definitely the best fish n chippery ( don't want to call it a shop) that i've been to. Well done guys. Stay to one premises and do it right."

"Consistently very good. There are two aspects of F&C joints that I think are underrated:<br/ 1. Consistency<br/ 2. Choice of hamburger bun.<br/ <br/ Valley Seafood comes up with a gold star on both of these which puts it in stark contrast to other places. I've been buying from these guys for about six or seven years now and I've never had a complaint with their food (although once a small tub of tomato sauce was past use by date).<br/ <br/ They also have a good handle on the hamburger bun I don't know where they get them from, but the buns they use are an excellent choice. They're not crusty but they hold together even when some moisture from the burger contents starts to affect the bread which is not all that common in my experience.<br/ <br/ I drive past about four other places in order to get my F&C from Valley Seafood it's probably the best in the area. Highly recommended."

"Popped in here Saturday night with my husband. Although we didn't have a booking we were initially told they were fully booked, they kindly managed to seat us at a table of a no-show booking.<br/ Beautiful warm inside on such a cold night. Atmosphere was busy but nice and the seating was quite spacious.<br/ Highly recommend the wood fired garlic cheese focaccia for an entree. Was a nice start to our meal.<br/ Hubby had the salmon, which was on a bed of mashed sweet potato he loved it. I had a grilled chicken breast with prawn cutlets, vegetables honey mustard sauce. Generous serving, sauce was beautiful prawns were amazing!<br/ Meal was topped off with the Creme Brûlée for dessert. It was enough for us to share it surpassed my expectations. Hubby would have licked the bowl if he could have!<br/ Overall, great place. Love the boat theme in the front entrance leading upstairs!<br/ Only criticism was we ordered the grilled haloumi to go with the garlic focaccia for entree but it never came. When our mains arrived, we let the waiter know asked if this could be removed from our bill. He sincerely apologised it didn't appear on our bill.<br/ Great job guys, as we're Niddrie locals, we'd come back : <br/"
