"We ate here a few nights, whilst we were staying in the Priva Alpine Lodge for a week break. Decent menu and good wine list. Nice family atmosphere and excellent service. Well worth a visit."

"We used to come here for many years. Mainly because of its prime location on the lake with view of the mountains. The food and 'black brigade ' however always left a lot to be desired for the class in which it operates. I won 't delve further on the past because we just noted a massive improvement! Since last year the former chef of restaurant Riva, Ruedi Eberl has taken control of the kitchen. Hurray! What a difference he made. To begin with the menu and his obsession for top quality ingredients. Longstanding traditional dishes like Schnitzel, veal-liver Venetian art, rösti and steak tartar mixed with a few subtle eclectic dishes in which a subtle touch of Asia can be noted. But also the wine list starts to bear witness of a connoisseur rather than that of the overly aggressive cheeky salesmen we used to have as our waiter in the former years. We had a fresh Meursault from Remi Jobard that I 'll remember for good. The one note for improvement is for the black brigade. The intern who brought our amuse bouche had no idea what it was and rather than ask and come back with correct info she just made something up, completely off target. Nevertheless we are happy to have a top quality Swiss chef back in business at this prime location. We 'll be back for sure!"

"The lady dressed as a clown is not funny at all, and does not take a hint when enough is enough. She runs around blowing in her little whistle all the time. Annoying as hell. Do not visit if you have tinnitus. We wanted something to eat and drink before going on the sled-ride. But leaving any of my money in this place was unthinkable after her little seance. Never again."

"We arrived for Lunch time with our two Teenagers hungry and ready for food. We ordered Cheese Bacon Burgers and Schnitzel and Fries....best Burgers we had in a long time and we are Americans and should know...we recommend this Restaurant highly. The cook himself brought the food to us with a great smile on his face. Great food and very wonderful service, we will be back."
