"Seriously good rotisserie, but also sells a lot of things like sausages and burgers. the squeegee is in front of the door at the time of the tee, and they are always sold out. I loved having a portion chicken. juicy and delicious!"

"We ate at this restaurant during a weeklong stay in Herford, visiting our daughter who lived there at the time. We were a party of five and had reserved a table but as it was a lovely, warm evening, we opted to wait until an...outside table was available in the lovely little courtyard garden at the back of the restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly, with a Malaysian waiter who could speak good English tending to our needs throughout the evening. To start the evening off, we all had a Hugo cocktail, which was very addictive and then all bar one diner, who was driving, opted for the Red Wine Sampler, which cost Euro 7.50 and consisted of 6 different German red wines, all of which were perfectly palatable if a little light for my liking. Three of us had deep fried Camembert for starters and two shared a Flammi Pfiffig (increasingly ubiquitous tarte flambee like dish) while for mains, three had fillet steak, one had veal schnitzel with mushroom sauce and one had an oven pan with pork and mushrooms. The portions were generous and the food tasty. No one had dessert. With three bottles of water, the bill came to Euro 181 before the tip. We had a pleasant evening with good service and would most likely return if in Heford again."

"We finally found some good coffee in the city region. Service was overall nice. The selection of coffee is good. A choice of cake/pastry is given but doesn 't include anything outstanding. Breakfast options are available. Pricing is in the upper range. Overall, worth trying."
