"Nach einer rund einstündigen Wanderung von Wasserfallen runter nach Reigoldswil, hatten wir entsprechend Hunger und besonders Lust auf ein gutbürgerliches Essen. Und genau das erhielten wir im Gasthof Ryfenstein. Bewusst entschieden wir uns auch für den urchigeren der beiden Säle, dessen Tische, Stühle und Bänke aus Holz sind und im Gegensatz zum anderen gehobeneren Saal ohne Tischdecke daherkommt. Beide Säle sind recht klein und überschaubar.Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und dezent aber ansprechend angerichtet. Besonders die Sauce des Rahmschnitzel überzeugte. Bei den Pommes wurde nicht gespart und auch dass es zwei Scheiben Zitrone zum Schnitzel gab ist lobenswert. Das Essen war sehr schnell zubereitet, obschon die Schnitzel erst noch zubereitet werden mussten, was man auch am klopfen mitbekam. Allerdings war zum Zeitpunkt auch wenig los. Die Bedienung war freundlich, der Kellner der alten Garde, immer freundlich dankend und aufmerksam im Hintergrund achtend ob man einen Wunsch hatte. Zum Abschied gab er sogar die Hand. Extra Lob für den äußerst schmackhaften Gruß aus der Küche und das noch gratis Brot mit einer Kräuterbutter (?) aufgetischt wurde, obschon nichtmal ein Salat bestellt wurde.Fast perfekt, einzig beim bestellen eines Wassers ab Hahn hatten wir das Gefühl eines kurzen kritischen Blickes. Wurde auch zu einem moderaten Preis verrechnet, für mich völlig in Ordnung.Fazit: gut bürgerlich gesucht und genau so gegessen und zufrieden wieder gegangen."

"Mit unseren 2 Kinder einen schönen Abend verbracht. Die Pizza Margarita in Form einer Mickey Maus war der Hit. Auch dass unserer jüngster ein Schnitzel bekommen hat, obwohl dies nicht auf der Karte war war wirklich super toll! Die Pizzen und Salat waren top und die Bedienung mega freundlich! Vielen Dank an das service Team für den schönen Abend und besten dank auch in die Küche"
