"This non-descript eatery tucked into, (and frankly not very visible) a motor lodge inn, is a TOTAL gem, if you are looking for great food, wonderful service and value for your money. The Greek burger I had, along with a beef barley soup as my choice of side, were scrumptious. The bun was fresh and homemade, the chicken had to be a quarter of a pound at least, and all the dressings superb. Big chunks of beef in the soup, again, homemade. At 16$ it was a bargain and I left 20$. We had a good chat with Vijeta, who leases the eatery, with her husband, from the motor lodge owners and served us. When we asked how was business, she happily gave us the history of the place. I love that. I wish them all the best at making it a huge success. Yes, the interior is old and in need of renovations, but it is spotless and MOST importantly, the food is to die for. I am from the east coast, but if I lived ANYWHERE near Lacombe, Alberta, Marion’s Eatery would be my top favourite place to eat. DEFINITELY!"

"My husband and I have eaten here numerous times and we always have the Calamari salad.....lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, peppers, and LOTS of deep fried calamari piled on top......it's soooo good! It comes with a yummy toasted garlic baguette as well. Tonight I ate here with my two sisters and they both had a steak, stuffed baked potato and vegetable. They both said it was delicious. Service is always good and the staff is friendly,"
