"I was a guest at the hotel and had dinner. I clearly differentiate between hotel and restaurant operations. The service is really nice, friendly and accommodating. Just as you would expect. Thank you for the warmth and the open word. My criticism of the food was well received and I think you take it seriously. Great as well! Unfortunately I can't share the 5 stars. I took the only fish dish on the menu. That was ok, but without love, without sophistication and a little unimaginative. The entire concept doesn't make sense to me. Burgers, Viennese-style schnitzel, currywurst, 3 types of pizza as well as steak and various salads. The steak that I heard from a guest was great, he was satisfied. So I'm giving it a second chance. I wish there was a candle on the table that was also lit. Creative food that speaks for a 4 star hotel and tables that are further apart in the evening and in the morning. "Das La Maria liegt in einem Wohngebiet in Lichtenrade, ziemlich weit ab vom Schuss. Trotzdem ist das Restaurant praktisch immer voll, im Sommer sogar bis auf den letzten Platz. Reservierungen werden nicht gerne angenommen, allenfalls bei größeren Gruppen. Das Personal ist teilweise lustig, teilweise etwas nervig, aber liebevoll. Nur wenn der Laden komplett voll ist, geht es beiweilen etwas ruppig zu. Die Speisekarte ist extrem umfangreich, und ich habe bestimmt schon 10x bei La Maria gegessen und alle möglichen Speisen (Pizza, Schnitzel, Steak) ausprobiert. Die Qualität war immer in Ordnung, zumal die Preise extrem niedrig sind und man selbst mit vier Personen kaum mehr als 30-40 Euro ausgeben muss, um wirklich satt zu werden."

"It has become the restaurant of our choice for all occasions. The owner and the staff are always polite. On very busy evenings it might come to a longer waiting time. But it is worth it. The food is amazing, the drinks are good and the atmosphere is relaxed and can be romantic. I recommend it with my whole heart."
