"This restaurant has had a change of manager twice this year and both are into ripping regular customers off. The first time a group was charged an extra cover and tried to charge an extra euro for the wine than agreed. The second time we were ripped off over the wine, told it was a reserva it wasn't and there is no wine list now to check. Also charged 20.50€ for a meal that was actully 12€. We are still waiting to get all our money back on this. The food is good, but the management is not."

"Best prego’s on the island! We stopped in by chance and the service was superb. We loved our laid back trip to the island and the warm hospitality of the locals. Coral preta in ice cold glasses to start followed by the best pregos and...hand cut chips on the island. We rounded offf our snack with a bica (espresso) and made a few more visits during our two weeks on the island and were never disappointed."

"We visited Sabor Italiano yesterday and had our favourite meals so far after days on Madeira. It’s a casual place in the Ponta do Sol shopping mall and we enjoyed sitting outside. Easy parking available. We had a mixed salad which was fresh with...tasty, my husband had a pasta dish with chicken, red peppers in an olive oil/tomato base (sorry can’t remember the name) and I had a small pizza that was huge. We are here a few more days and will definitely go back for another meal"
