"We loved our 2-night stay in this hotel where we found rest. Very well located, near Saint Emilion, we enjoyed this countryside and its vineyards so well ordered. For breakfast and dinner, everything was great and to remind me that gives me water to my mouth. Home, home foie gras, dish and dessert, I always appreciate: a very nice experience. The decor and the rooms are perfect. For the reception, if it is only those in charge of the establishment are very good, while knowing that they remain discreet. We will be happy to return, to rest, to feast and to rejoice."

"We live nearby and every summer it’s one of our highlights to go to La Plage. The setting is magical, the ambiance is gorgeous, the staff are so lovely and we love the summer food, the menu has something to suit everyone. We Specially go when there is live music, but this year we have been for the Sunday lunchtime dancing with a live dance band. Now I want to go every week. I am looking forward to going again next summer, Thankyou so much we had a lovely time."

"There aren't many restaurants in the centre of Castillon la Bataille and unfortunately the outside seating of this is basically in the central car park. It wasn't busy when we were here but the service was somewhat on the slow side still the food when it arrived was worth the wait. I had a huge salad of the day but this was no mere pile of lettuce but full of chicken, cheese and a wide variety of vegetables. My husband had the steak, chips with veg and both of us were very satisfied. With half a litre of wine the bill came to 34 euros so no complaints there."
