"Flavor? This is your spot. ! I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years. Most of the 5 years I’d just order for take out. My kids and I would picnic at the beach with this yummy food! Always hits the spot. The other day we went for a sunset watch and was not really hungry. We opted to try other places, but other places were bar like type and my kids just didn’t like that vibe. Was too late for a picnic, so we dined in. The food is always spot on. The service and atmosphere feels like you’re visiting family. If you’re coming from the IE, or LA, SD, even N OC, and you’re short on food ideas for the family or a nice date, swing by. You won’t be disappointed. Large portions and full of flavor. "Will have to try this place again. Those green beans had a pretty pretty gnarly smell/taste but everything else was good. Tomato chunks don't belong in clam chowder......the chowder was decent otherwise though! 4/5!"

"As soon as my family and I entered the place, I immediately felt welcome. The environment was wonderful, the music was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the food was so good, I can’t even find a word to describe it. This restaurant has definitely become one of my favorites, and I will for sure be returning in the future. (The pasta was called “ fettuccine Del Mar”"

"Fun spot for drinks, live music and football. The locals who come here are funny and welcoming. Plenty of space to sit and the terrace is cool. Update 1/2: came here with a group of people for lunch and the food is great. Live music again and the same locals who were all cool. Love comes here, there is always room, food great, drinks good, and everyone is great."

"Delicious food with a view. We dinner at this restaurant while on holiday in Dana Point. We had read the mixed reviews, but decided to try it if for nothing else, for the view. It was a happy hour and we decided to sit on the terrace. We saw 3 different people bringing menus, water and some lime before we saw our waiter. He ran like crazy and tried to maintain. After ordering drinks and waiting for another 10 minutes to watch how they run from table to table with the time to stop for us, we asked to be moved up into the dining room in the hope of better service. We were. Our new waiter was very friendly as the manager who was seen to talk to guests and servers to make sure everything went smoothly. We ordered an appetizer, the crabs beignets. They were wonderful!! I'd really recomend her. We shared Clam Chowder, who was also phenomenal. Only the problem we have was when the main ridge dinner was delivered, it was well done, dry and hard instead of medium rare as ordered. We asked the waiter about it, and he argued that it was medium rare (combating with customers is a huge animal peive). Steak is easy to recognize from the website as well as the feeling of meat and that was shoe leather. The meal was new and came out perfectly and tasted wonderful. If we come back, we would definitely return to this restaurant. Staff problems may have been a unique problem, and the manager seems to be in control. Good food and great views!"

"We have been here 3 times and we love it. It's rarely crowded and the food is delicious. The spice content is tolerable and not as hot as in other Indian restaurants. I recommend this little hole in the wall every day."
