"My girl was craving all you can eat sushi and I was fresh out the dentist so obviously I was ready to eat and put my teeth into some food. Kinda disappointed we came here tho and on top of that I know I've been here before and remember it being better. Ordered a healthy serving of sushi and a couple side dishes. The sushi was good and there's quite a bit of variety. The side dishes also cover a lot of foods so there should be something for everyone however the service was by far the worst thing here. I decided to venture out and order a dish I never had before upon receiving it and tasting it I knew it was for me but still I tried to eat most of the protein and left behind the rice and sauce as the sauce was really what threw me off. When a waitress came to clear the table she grabbed empty plates and the left over sauce and rice she came back 2 minutes later and told us we had to pay for the left over food. Not gonna lie I was taken back by this but brushed it off. If you're craving sushi there other places who have a better customer service if you do decide to come here make sure to only order what you like or you'll be paying for it.. literally"

"Just ordered delivery from the restaurant (We are from out of town staying at a hotel)... Sushi here is amazing. We ordered the vegetarian sushi platter. Arrived in a beautiful box, beautiful presentation, and the taste was exquisite. Range of flavors included mushroom, mango, avocado, sweet potato etc. The restaurant was able to substitute tuna for one of the rolls, for a nominal fee.The person who took my order was also very accommodating and polite. Haven't visited in person, but would recommend highly based on the simply delicious sushi We had delivered.Went back on day two for lunch. Slightly disappointed with the in-person experience. No price on the menu. Wasn't offered the lunch menu until I asked. Wasn't given water until I asked. Tip automatically included though we were a party under six, (including tip for parties under six is not standard practice). That said, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was tolerant of my kids (they can be rowdy). I still stand by a wonderful delivery experience the day before!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options."

"Sometimes I eat sushi in another restaurant and whenever I come back to Sushi Depanneur I always wonder why I went anywhere else in the first place. The food almost melts in your mouth. Every different kind of sushi is perfect. Very fresh. The service is good, the staff is always the same, makes it feel familiar.They have very few tables so sometimes it can be full but they offer take out. They also sell various asian products which is cool (desserts and sushi ingredients).I definitely come here more than I care to admit."

"Really enchanted with this small sushi restaurant located not far from my accommodation! discovered following a compulsive sushi urge, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the elaboration of the pieces served! and more it is very affordable (9$ for 14 pieces, and not small)! I recommend it warmly and return it to it."

"I've been enjoying sushi (emperor, rainbow, spyder, red tiger rolls, tuna tartare) at this location in Atwater Market for the last 3 years. Very satisfied with the freshness, didn't mind the 40 min waits, and would treat myself. Was very loyal, even driving 10 km to this location after moving (even though there's a location 3 km from home), just to get some good sushi. But, I've now gone 3 different times to get sushi, and have been sadly disappointed. The first time I figured bad timing - end of lunch rush (2:00pm), so maybe that's why rolls were kind of....chewy and the rice was....'scraping the bottom of the rice pot' taste. I was really hopeful the 2nd time, but it was again chewy and really tasted like sushi made hours before that should've gone into the 'discount -quick sell' bin. Alright, last Saturday, was thinking 3rd time is the charm. Ordered spyder roll, Emperor roll, & tuna tartare, ready in 15 min. I got in my car, got there in 20 minutes, got the rolls home 20 minutes later, and.....it was so disappointing. Again. The tempura in the emperor roll was packed like wet mush. The tuna tartare tasted like mush as well, with a few choice pieces of tuna.The spyder roll was a little burnt tasting (I don't know why) but at least it appeared made to order since the soft-shelled crab was still crispy. I really wanted it to be good to prove the previous 2 times were one-offs, but I don't think I will go back. I'm sad because I really found this sushi shop had good quality, but given 3 visits in 4 months have been disappointing, I think they should concentrate on bringing back quality. Loyal clients are only loyal if you serve quality food. Don't take your repeat clients for granted. Plenty of eager restaurants out to win over your customers."
