"Was served MOLDY BREAD. Everything was bland. I really don’t like to complain about local establishments because I understand things happen. But it was very bad. I went in this past weekend for brunch and our food was unseasoned and cold. We ordered an extra side of toast, and at the end of the meal when the waiter took all of our plates I took the last remaining piece of toast because I was still hungry. (eggs benedict did not come with any sides) I took a bite of the toast, and it tasted funny, I turn over the bread and a MOLD spot is on the bread. I was very grossed out. I calmly let the waiter know, he took it off the bill, but I don’t want to ever come back here. Even without the moldy bread, I don’t think I’d return. And after seeing what the restaurant responds to the negative reviews, I doubt this place will get better as they don’t see themselves as the problem."

"Food and service were both really good. Meal started with freshly fried whole tortillas that you break into your own chips. These are accompanied by two different squeeze bottles of sauces you can squirt right into your chips.I had the fried flounder filet which has a wonderfully crispy and flavorful batter. My dining companion had the Refugio Platter. I sampled a couple small items off of it and it was also really good. Their shop makes an amazing cocktail sauce."

"This was my first time there. I had been wanting to go for a while I finally got to. I loved everything about it. The food was so good. The waitress was nice kept checking on us. The atmosphere was comfortable. I will be going back soon!"
