"Outstanding service, good food and a nice friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for? Well if you're looking for a good steak or a semblance of international cuisine you've come to the wrong place! This resteraunt is shamefully Austrian. Not bad and if... you haven't tied it, you definitely should. As well as the food they distill their own liquor (excellent) and sell their own produce. It's a bit of a walk well up a narrow mountain road which might be a bit difficult in winter but a wonderful location in summer and of course you can eat outside. My wife and I had the suckling pig, which wasn't always first class on the menu. All in all worth a visit."

"Had a great dinner we got the filet mignon and ny steak good cooked and the meat was high quality! Only negative point charged me for ketchup 2 euros think in not necessary when the average check is over 100 euro!"

"I was here with a couple of friends after having the horse sledge ride up to this location thanks to the awesome snow conditions (I assume 1m snow should suffice : As the ride was already an experience itself I was hoping for a positive...outcome on the food as well. Luckily I was not disappointed b the main part. They had a kind of carpaccio from the deer as a special offer for starters which I ordered immediately and should be followed by the typical Austrian Kasnocken (mini potatoe dumplings with melted Tyrolean mountain cheese . The carpaccio was excellent and tender unfortunately served with a slice of toasted white bread, a darker toasted local bread would be a better and more pleasant option imho. Nevertheless, great stuff! The Kasnocken knocked me out then, delightful heavy food that I was not able to finish though I am a good eater given the portion you receive. The taste is very subtle with this typical slight pungent taste of the cheese. Exactly my style! I actually felt sorry that I was full and could not finish the rest. While everybody else went for a dessert still amazed how they could handle it I went for my dessert as in a Hazelnut schnapps. I have tried many in different locations but this was easily the best from a local distillery. Hence I ended up with having 2 of those. If the snow condition allow we were lucky you are able to do the way back with a sledge that definitely is fun when you are with a group and race it out amongst each other."

"We needed a it stop in the drive from Munich to the mountains, don't be enticed by the lights of other near by towns, this place is on the main road and is great. Good food good service and a great Deli attached."
