"The food at Busshari was hit and miss. Standouts: miso cod - can't go wrong with this beautiful buttery fish; sashimi platter - decent variety of fish, the scampi was especially delicious; sesame tart - strong hit of sesame flavour; ice creams - matcha, sesame and houjicha were all terrific with a creamy, smooth texture and good depth of flavour. OK: miso pork ribs - tasty marinade but let down by the chewy toughness of the meat; popcorn shrimp - not what I expected but not bad; sushi & gyoza - average. Bad: karaage chicken - more like nanban with a soft, not crispy batter; miso eggplant - really greasy; coffee jelly - strange taste but could be a personal thing. Generally, sashimi and desserts are the forte here. Restaurant service was polite but rude over the phone."

"Empty on arrival, 1 staff member eventually approached us once seated to get drink order, the other staff member just sat on their backside and didn't move for over 30mins. Took 10 mins to get coffee order, average coffee. Had ordered 2 Bloody Mary's, took 20mins as waitress broke one glass had to start again, they were unpalatable, thick homemade passata with onions, NOT Tomato juice, was taken away. Another 20 mins for meals to be served, eggs overcooked, fritters were soggy hardly any corn it them, Turkish bread not toasted or buttered. Scrambled eggs overdone and watery, ok flavour. Food served cold. Waitress was stressed out, she had advised us she should have told us not to order Bloody marys she also didn't know how to make Turkish Tea. Paid $70.00 for terrible food, was a terrible experience, won't be back."

Both times I left feeling extremely satisfied and happy with the food that is served here and I would recommend this place based on my personal experience as the ingredients that they use are all fresh and delicious! The meats are succulent and marinated well and the sashimi was fresh too. I also loved the beef roll and salmon roll!!<br/>I definitely recommend their Seafood sizzling beef dinner menu if you want to get a taste of everything!!"
