"The restaurant convinced us not only during a visit, but also through the menus we picked up and prepared at home during the shutdown. The dishes were partly precooked and generally very well prepared. It was no great effort to set up an excellent menu at home in this way, as the ingredients were a very well formulated guide. The ingredients were all of excellent quality and naturally fresh. The menus were exceptionally compiled and very tastefully matched. If you appreciate exceptionally good food and a friendly service, the restaurant is worth a recommendation from our point of view."

Here someone understands his craft through and through in the kitchen. Remarkable, super friendly service. All-round coherent concept, price level slightly higher, but absolutely justified! "Cafe Schweigert is a permanent company in this Black Forest Resort and fortunately has not closed in the badly visited months of January and February (if other places say goodbye... Spacious interior with several departments: sunny conservatory with cozy basket furniture, central café with beautifully padded corner benches, quiet location in the north (here you have rest and of course a beautiful, sunny, small terrace in the south, directly on the highway. opposite the Kurhaus and the Tourist Info. That's by hand! I love the saturating Engadine Nusstorte (also for removal!, the delicious tea biscuits (200 grams for 4.90 euros and the covered apple cake). Those who like hearty will find numerous soups on the map (also some vegetarians, such as tomato soup, schnitzel, various croissants and toasts, mouth flakes, sausage and Königsberger Klopse. Although I arrived only at 13.00, I also got an English breakfast (e.g. with bread and cups of coffee for approx. 7 euros and that changes according to my wishes. Operation is so super-friendly that you can't find words. It is attentive, accommodating, fast to the place, helps older dominations in the mantle, has a welcome word ready for everyone and enjoys many personally named. Here you feel individually cared for. Although the restaurant itself is barrier-free and many guests come with a roller shutter, it is necessary to remember that the toilet on the upper floor (which is really handicap, but also the walkable toilet of the Tourist Info can use. Children are not so well visited here, the restaurant has already dedicated itself to the guests and seniors. As a tourist you will find a number of regional specialties to bring: spirits, homemade chocolates, pretty pines of chocolate. Unfortunately, the place is closed at 6 pm. But then the sun goes behind the Black Forest Mountains and it is very cool."
