"Everyone that visits Rosarito has their favorite fish taco establishment. Moriscos Popotla Jr. is my favorite, hands down. I especially like that you can get seafood tacos without breading (sin empanizar). it's only a few pesos more and they still pile on the fish. You can even get your taco with a lettuce wrap if you prefer.This is one of the last restaurants in town to have chips (totopos) and salsa picante included with the sit down meal. The salsa is excellent!There is free WiFi in the restaurant. A play area for children. It is extremely clean, even the bathrooms. Some of the wait staff speaks English and they are very friendly and professional.My favorites are the fish tacos (sin empanizar), the ceviche de pescado, and the creamy clam chowder. I'm from Seattle and know my clam chowder. They use fresh clams in this one and it tastes great. You might see me there as I go every week!"

"Spent a weekend with family at El Morro Surf Ranch and walked up to Tacho's Taco stand. So happy I crossed that rock bridge and went there because the grilled shrimp tacos are excellent. Service was on point. When I make it back to K38,...I know where my tacos will come from."

"Coming here is like a huge step back in time. it is rare to visit such a characterful, untouched place. dirt roads and simple structures built on the sandy kelpyufer. Wednesdays it is a bit sleepy and wowking are crazy busy with the local peasant market...style fish market. the best part of being here is the beautiful view of the water and incredibly fresh sortiment of seafood (clams, oysters, garnel, snapper, lobster, otopus). the restaurant serves the complete range of breakfast items, lunch and dinner. if they are not for seafood, many good things offer like rellenos, and they call it protein cooked over hardwood. plus really friendly sweet service."

"This place has great potential and is still serving fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Service is average. Ambience is lacking, and frankly for this location right on the boulevard the best thing that can happen, as far as food goes, is for a new...owner or next generation to take over. But honestly, if you are there, it is certainly fresh seafood, full bar. It is acceptable, but not a culinary delight. Many continue to go there just because they have been doing so for years, and it has not failed them."
