"found this place on the way to chch, it approached 9 o'clock and I thought I would stick with almost food chips or pizza, which was a big surprise when I saw this vegan food truck on the side of the road! managed to achieve a delicious and nutritious meal for just $15, was the guy who ran the lkw, very friendly, had got a good chat with him and even got boerts out. will be back to try the subscript moussaka!"

"This place is the best Afghan restaurant I've been to. I've tried a few in Australia before but this one in Christchurch is certainly the best. The lamb is very delicious and tender. The curry chicken literally falls off the bone. Even the rice tastes great! Portion size is very generous and the two chefs out the front are friendly. Can see why this is such a popular place amongst locals and travellers. It's worth the wait ! Great place! Highly recommended."

"This place had great authentic indian food and the staff was really good and helpful. The portions of food are ok but the main dishes come with rice which we did not notice in the menu. Kadhai panner and Chicken tikka masala were really good and well made to taste. We also tried the mango kulfi which was really good too. Overall great place to go for Indian food."

"I never tried Kerala before until I went to Southerns Spices. My friend reckon this is the closer malaysian's taste bud. I ordered Kerala Chicken Briyani for my dinner. And I love it ! Decent portion and price. Definitely will be back and explore more :"
