"I got a fish and chips deal the other day and the cod was terrible. The worst cod of all my life by far. Didn't taste like cod... Really dry, tiny and tasteless... the bag of the chips was a joke. Better fish and chips in Pronto Pizza on the same street."

"Listen, you're going to find better pizza, in a nicer restaurant, somewhere else in Dublin. But you will spend double what you do at Il Capo, for functionally the same meal. If you're looking for comfort food, this is the place to go. I wanted to not spend money and not eat in a McDonald's and this was exactly what I was after. It was also constantly busy so locals know what they're getting and it is hella popular. If you're unfussy and want food if unspectacular pizza, this is the spot. You can spend more than I did, €8.50 for pizza, chips, and a can, for one pint of Guinness in Temple Bar. "My boyfriend and I had a long day of travelling so decided to order take away from Pizzadog when we got home, I ordered a Calzone and my boyfriend ordered a margherita. The food was cold when it arrived and to top it off the calzone was not cooked on the inside there was a whole raw button mushroom in the pizza!! I called to complain and instead of listening to my complaint they hung up on me. We will never be trying this place again. Now maybe I shouldn't have ordered Calzone from a takeaway but if you can't cook it, please don't have it on your menu!!!!!!"

"Great for a light lunch. I stopped here after spending too much money on fallon and byrne. it is a very inconceivable place on the floor of a small shopping center, but paid for the price, they get meals that are made scratch. the chef is an experienced profi from italia with several years under his belt. even the pasta is in the premises....I had a simple bowl of dayly bolognese with a few shadings of parmesan up, and it was one of the best Italian meal I had in the last time."
