"We went here for a special night and ate on the terrace. Everyone was very friendly and the food was so delicious. I had the meat lasagna and there was enough for two people. The woman had Pesto-Perogies and she had a lot to take home. We also have desserts made on site and very good."

"Decided to give Darby 's a try tonight. It 's decent, but not exactly what I was expecting based on the good reviews. Ordered the sweet potato fries to start, and for a $7 bowl of fries, they could at least season them or have a sauce that actually goes with them. Who eats sweet potato fries with ketchup? The fries themselves were good, but no sauces available to go with them and they had no salt/seasoning. For my entree I got the baked haddock with fries. The fish was seasoned with a sprinkle of paprika and a sneeze 's worth of parsley. The fries, also seasoned with only thoughts and prayers, were stewing in the nondescript fish juices, soggy and off tasting. My partner got the crab melt, no complaints from him. Quality seems hit and miss overall. You might order something good. If they figured out how to season their food, it 'd actually be really good. They 've got technique down, but flavor is elusive. At least the almost empty salt shaker on your table will have your back for a few bites. We 're not coming back."

"My wife and I considered a brunch on the way from Bath to Acadia Bay Inn in Sullivan. We ate on the beautiful outdoor terrace. The brunch menu is very creative with many reefs on eggs Benedict among other pleasures. We enjoyed the brunch so much that we spent two nights later (1 hour 10 min. Ride per way) for their Monday dinner, the Mexican cuisine with Maine ingredients. In particular, the salsas were excellent. You know that cooking is good when everything tastes great on the plate! If you want something other than the usual Maine seafood, the Hoot is the place to go."

"I love love this place right in downtown Belfast. The first time I went for food, that was incredible, farm grown and oh so healthy. Then I learned that they sell the most beautiful flowers seasonal, I really put my special varieties together so well. And then there are her fresh garden selected Veggies, a great store. Finally, they have wonderful plants, shrubs and trees with a small story about everyone. You have a seating area outside, but I live the large room in front with the brick wall and the high ceiling, a warm welcoming room. I wish they were open later!"

"Happened upon this place while driving up Hwy 1. I can't say enough good things about Young's! Staff was so friendly and helpful, lobster was AMAZING! We also had a crab roll, grilled halibut, and various other steamed seafood. Every single thing was delicious! Love that's it's BYOB, and the view was perfect. Can't wait to come back!"

"I just wanted to mention the criticism of another commentator about the undercooked vegetables here. What is great in this kitchen is the vegetables not boiled, not muddy as most places serve.
