"5/5 stars • went to nelson’s fish chips recently and I must say after all the last (mixed) reviews I have read, they seem really twisted around. the cod was excellent – fish was crunchy and damp as it should be and the dough was oil-free. I asked how beautiful their kartoffels tasted and the friendly opponent told me that they had experienced kartoffel supply problems due to the weather earlier in the year, but they had now sorted out this and they are back on their trusted Maris pilots – they were delicious, crispy and fluffy inside. so satisfied nelsons are back on form. long can continue. thanks and well done Nelson’s"

"Always a friendly greeting from the staff, some food, like fish, is usually cooked to order, other food readily available, a wide variety of choices and even does cakes! Will deliver if required and can order over phone or website. Clean floor and serving surfaces, not too pricey. Only thing I would say, I you only want a small serving of chips, they don't do small, their small is still quite a lot, so be prepared for a lot of chips"
