"Showed up quite late for dinner (late in to our hotel) and had to order off the abbreviated menu. I had a pork bratwurst (can't remember if they called it that or something else) and it was quite good. Service was good. Atmosphere was nice. Had a few drinks. Very convivial, a large crowd of folks celebrating in the corner. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Would go back if I were back in Bettmeralp."

"We received a warm greeting on arrival. Everything we had was really good and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't be more attentive and caring, they made sure everything was great at all times; The restaurant was spot on, great ambiance, music and decor, the toilets were spotless and the staff looked very professional. I totally recommend it and we will come back for sure!"

"The nicest single room I've found. They're usually a bit shabby. Excellent welcome and precise information: it is located a few steps from the cable car that leads to Belalp, where you can go for walks or hikes in the mountains. The owner let me leave the car in the garage for free. Really kind. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Situated very close to the gondola station this restaurant offers good food and an extensive menu. Portions are very generous so for example pizzas can be shared. It has a lovely balcony overlooking the slopes. Having used this restaurant over several years the quality has remained excellent and the service is attentive"

"Surprisingly expensive given the poor location, poor state of the surrounding buildings, fairly stark and institutional look of the hotel, closed spa, prevalenc of flies, and mediocre quality of the rooms. We paid about the same amount (roughly $300) for some very nice rooms with more space and amenities in nicer hotels and much nicer neighborhoods in Geneva and Brig the same week. The bright spots for this hotel were the friendly staff and a fairly nice breakfast, but otherwise it was very overpriced and disappointing. Rooms: No frills. Dormitory feel. Walkability: Maybe a 20-minute walk to the Brig bahnhof. Reasonably accessible by bus. Not a neighborhood that there's much to walk to or look at. Noteworthy details: Pretty run-down neighborhood and immediate lot around the hotel felt run-down as well."

"We were guests of the hotel with half board and the first dinner was extremely heavy with to much onions. Second dinner was terrible, both my wife and myself did not feel good after the dinner, not acceptable from a restaurant of this level. The...water from the tap was also charged! Maybe the half board is not the best choice but food wise our experience was terrible. About the hotel we found it absolutely not in line with the price, the room was extremely simple and the hall was almost nonexistent. The duvet was more suitable for winter season and in summer was definitively too warm, no alternatives were available. Despite the fact that the hotel is called golf hotel, I was not able to play golf in 2 days because there was a tournament. Personnel of the hotel were not very friendly (with some exception) and not prepared about the things to do in the region. I appreciated only the spa which was great especially because the hotel was almost empty, strange thing in mid august which should be high season but probably the reasons are similar to this review."
