"What a fabulous Wee place! fantastic deep fried inkfish followed by possibly the best fish’n’chips that I’ve ever served all of three of the loving of the waiting staff. very pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. my wife was here before, but that was my first time. I will be back in any case!"

"Went here for Mother's Day. Nice ambience about the place and great service, but the meal was decidedly average, which was disappointing given the good reviews on here. Under cooked roast potatoes, tasteless sausages and turkey, which can only be constituted as reformed meat. Won't rush back for a roast dinner."

"We had lunch at this charming hotel The starters were delicious lentil soup, breaded muchrooms and chicken skewers. The starters were decent portions and were inexpensive. My rump steak was as I ordered it. The fish and chips also good Overall the food was good and the staff very helpful and friendly Best of all was the final bill of just £46 with drinks included."
