Åre is a spacious and impressive destination! The Åreskutan mountain provides expansive and picturesque areas for freeriding adventures, such as beneath the large gondola and back down to Björnen. Though wind may sometimes interrupt or even halt the anchor lifts, clear sunny weather makes for a fantastic experience! View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Basecamp:
The meatballs and grilled corv are delicious appetizers at this restaurant. The coffee is not very good, so opt for the hot chocolate instead. The views are breathtaking. The interior seating is limited due to some sections being closed off. There is outdoor seating available when the weather permits. View all feedback.
