"A unique restaurant with various theme rooms and excellent food. The staff is fleeting and funny. It is recommended to make a reservation. The restaurant is best visited without children, as the interior is very individual and lovingly designed and not every child can sit quietly. Very recommended!!! Would give Klatt 7 stars if I could."

"Vi valgte dette spisested på anbefaling fra Tripadvisor. Vi blev ikke skuffede. Der var en særlig stemning, måske den italienske..personalet var meget opmærksomme, hurtige og høflige. Maden blev serveret hurtigt men smagte fint. Vi var så heldige at besøge stedet samme aften hvor der kom levende musik. Fulvio Palese og Piero Vincenti spillede god jazz. Mens de spillede somewhere over the rainbow, kom en flot regnbue til syne ud over havet. Det var sgu lidt magisk, da musikken kom først.Det er et lille spisested, men tag ikke fejl af atmosfæren. Absolut et besøg værd."

"Ich war mit 2 Kindern und 4 Erwachsenen in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war wirklich vorzüglich . Toller Service und nicht nur Aushilfskräfte. Ich hatte Nudeln mit Rinderfilet. Lecker zubereitet die Pilze waren frisch und noch knackig und nicht aus der Dose. Ich gehe wieder hin ubd empfehle es auch jedem."

"I had the great pleasure of dining at Restaurant Am Meer nearly every evening for weeks. The menu has a nice variety enough to suit anyone's tastes. I particularly enjoyed the Kalbsschnitzel (veal schnitzel) and the Rindersteak USA Prime Beef. Top it off...with a nice bottle of wine? Maybe the Schoko-Souffl (chocolate souffl ! All of the food is of high quality, very well prepared, and very nicely presented. Clearly, the Chef and his team take great pride in their work. They should. They do great work! (And, the prices are very fair The restaurants seats about guests inside and about the same number of guests outside on the terrace (overlooking the sea). Reservations are definitely recommended. Keep in mind, the weather in Lohme can be quite varied and unpredictable. It can be cloudy and blowing, and an hour late sunny and calm. So make outdoor bookings with that in mind. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, very nicely decorated, and located at a very scenic location on the sea. The views are beautiful; particularly at sunset. All that said, the best part of the Restaurant Am Meer is, by far, the wait staff. All very professional. All very polite and friendly. They each helped me greatly as my German is terrible."

"Our last night was stopped and we wanted to visit the Shaabe. Shaabe, a rather unusual word for a restaurant, at least for those who do not know where this word comes from. Names for this restaurant and pension are Schaaben, with us known as Frösche. The word is derived from Slavic zaba. It's a little back on the only road through the place that leads the road where you come to Cape Arkona. Accordingly, the traffic volume is high. There is a private parking lot where visitors to the restaurant can also be seen. The restaurant is usually furnished and equipped, you should finally see and remember where to eat. What the parking was announced was confirmed in the restaurant, it was really full. But for our pleasure, a nice waitress quickly found a table, as she had just empty it. The flash waitress brought the card and asked for our drinking wishes. Until we finished the selection, she asked us for patience, as it will probably take longer than we expect a friendly and honest warning. We saw the reason all the rooms were cracked as mentioned. I especially liked wheelchair users coming in and out. There are ramps on the stages everywhere and the staff also intervene in support. The decision we want to drink was quick, with the food we needed a lot more time, the choice was harder. The menu is wide and can really be seen. At the end, the Mecklenburg-Riemen was filled with plums. It was just a poem, a taste experience. The salmon of my treasure was also delicious, but my food was better! I say... We were both very satisfied and recommend this restaurant. I have to call some manko, it took a long time to get drinks and our food. As announced, this was certainly due to the high number of guests and therefore does not lead to Star withdrawal. Even if we do not use the pension, the 21 rooms are ALL non-smoking rooms according to information from the Schaaben website. That's very pleasant."
