Good quality chip shop, excellent value for money meal deals and munchy boxes. Food is always fresh and tasty. One word of warning, the local neds are a menace here, frequently coming into the shop, annoying the staff and the customers. I've felt uncomfortable waiting in there on several ocassions. "We stumbled upon The Pakora Bar one snowy Saturday afternoon before catching our train home and it did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful with food recommendations. More importantly, the food was AMAZING, very well priced and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. You can tell how passionate this family-run business is. Perfectly located for anyone near the train station. What a gem!"

"Maybe this place is as good as people say, but I wouldn't have any idea how to discriminate women with babies. When I came up with a baby, I was told that we cannot have one of several empty tables, because it is “policy to serve or rather its policy is that mothers should confine themselves to their own houses!?
