Watchtowers are Barzan towers. The distance to the venue is worth it. The surroundings are beautiful. The residence of Sheikh Al Thani is located fairly close by. View all feedback.

It's one of the oldest buildings around, two fortified towere, has a Wikipedia article and is open to the public to explore. So in that way it's almost completely unique in Doha. However it's been recently rebuilt to the extent that you can't tell that its old and it's also absolutely covered in bird poop. Also there's zero information on site about its history or that of the area. View all feedback.

Several old houses repurposed into museums that tell the story of various aspects of Doha before oil and wealth, including of slavery. Very well done.
