"An incredibly cool, welcoming and happy place. I was in Dusseldorf on my own for business, and minding my own business, when I popped in for a drink, and, I must say, it was the highlight of the trip. Although the venue is intimate ...maybe twenty seats the staff were friendly, kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. A great selection of drinks (decent gin, good whskies, etc), there 's a cosmopolitan and international flavour to the place with a very healthy Irish contingent (always an excellent sign); mingling happily with numerous other nationalities. I thought of the 80s sitcom 'Cheers ', but with a more modern international flavour, whilst retaining a very Dusseldof spirit and I enjoyed it hugely. I just wish that every European city had a bar like this... maybe they do, and this time I got lucky?."
