"When I, my wife and my child just arrived at melukote, it was 2 o'clock ago. we started finding subbanna mess. even after a walk around 300 meters we could not find, but later on the way found this new sampathkumar bhavan. when we were linked and very... hungry, we gave ourselves and came into this restaurant. it was almost empty with only 2 people who had eaten there. sitting was good and easy. we ordered 2 teller lunch and it was very easy, and amazing tasty as to eat home. the lunch was served with pickel, parata, gashi (chickpeas curry,) dry curry, rustful, rice, pulijogare, buttermilk and with extra salt. pulijogare was so nice and we bought another one. the total amount was paid only to rs 140. the service of the owner was good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits melukote."

"A good restaurant to have lunch while returning from Mysore to Bangalore. It's located on national highway 275. They have provided necessary sign board to take service road which is very helpful to reach restaurant. There is also Indian oil petrol pump just beside the hotel so if you are looking fuel as well then both of your needs can be fulfilled easily. Well coming to food, there was only 2 option as we reached around 3:30 PM. We opted Thali which they served on Banana leaf and it was awesome. Everything was hot including Roti and Poori and it was unlimited food. We paid 200 per Thali which is still economical considering the highway delicacy. One can try without any hesitation."
