"Beautiful food, friendly staff! We went to this great local regional restaurant during the Pandemic and got some superb wild boar steak and Alentejo Pork grilled chops! Absolutely fantastic, the recommendation of the wine 600 was super good! Loved 600 altas quintas from a nearby producer! Cannot forget the dessert a home made local production walnut delicious tart!"

"This place came highly recommended by a local. Id did not live up to such high compliments but was, nevertheless an enjoyable occasion. Couvert of small tasty olives, tuna paste, sardine paste and butter arrived with some bread. Starters were prawns in olive oil and garlic and also fried mushrooms and garlic served with an awful lot of salt.I went for the lamb chops but these did not live up to expectations and were not the best I have experienced. My own would have been tastier but of course I am biased. It came with an awful lot of patatas fritas and some veg. Another main meal was decent grilled chicken again with a lot of chips and salad. The local man next to us had a HUGE steak again with a lot of chips and he seemed to be enjoying it. The staff were extremely friendly and informative regarding a choice of wine - they suggested a better (and cheaper) bottle to what we originally thought of getting. A free glass of a local drink rounded off the evening. Too full for deserts."

"As we have enteted the restaurant there were a bunch of local gentelmen enjoying beer and watching tv. So we knew that it was a great place, approved by the locals. And it was! We were served so quickly. Amazing aperitivo: soft goat cheese, cuscous salad, home olives. House wine red and white was so simple and soo good! Our family has ordered bacalao with eggs, bacalao with tomatoes, and black grilled piglet. All the food was good, and the portions were even too generous. We saw more locals coming in for the huge boxes of take away dinner food. Also it is convenient that the owner lady serves you in english, describes all dishes and is very friendly. Prices were really low!"
