What a perfect dining experience! We were visiting Melbourne in chilly July so we purchased the all inclusive Christmas in July lunch event.
This was a unique dining experience Dining on fine wines and gourmet foods while traveling thru the city streets.

"Really nice smoked and juicy meats. Seating is only outdoors so check the weather. When I went it was windy and raining. Not a great way to enjoy some good food. I just have to go back now. "This is a lovely neighbourhood bar with interesting daily food options that are a bit quirky but very tasty. The wine/cocktail list is extensive however wines by the glass are dependant upon what is then opened. Nevertheless there was plenty to choose from and once again the emphasis is on the unusual rather than standard wines but it was all the more interesting for that. The wine waiter was both knowledgable and helpful. Back to the food, we particularly enjoyed the lamb curry served Indian street style with excellent background heat. If you are in the area Gerald's Bar is worth a try."
