What Richie likes about Mt Hutt Ski Area:
One of my fave place which I visited. Great place to ski around or have fun. Not everyone gets allowed to go up. We got lucky as we took classes and our trainer was amazing. Snow Boarding was a good fun. It was very busy and we bought our tickets and rented gear at Methven Village to save time. It is too busy !!! They shouldn't allow so many people in the mountain if they don't have the capacity to supply all the services and needs to be according to the prices they charge. read more.

"Great little spot for a meal, my 3 companions really loved their meals (lamb shank steak . I had the vegetarian burger, definitely had an issue with it being over cooked and dry, however I let the manager Linda know and she dealt with it extremely professionally and well, definitely appreciate management that will rectify a problem. I would recommend this place for any meat eaters, but maybe not for vegetarians (there was a warm cous cous salad option available for vegetarians too . Also recommend to book a table :"

"Ordered takeaways from here last night without realising they had only been open for two nights under new owners! Very friendly owners with plenty of experience and industry knowledge, the food was excellent and I can only imagine it will get better as they get into the groove of running a Japanese restaurant. "$15 for the smallest kebabs I 've ever seen in my life. Lovely staff but yeah a kebab and $15 is meant to fill you up and I 'm still hungry as. A friend had warned me not to get their pizzas either as they were pricey, small and had barely any toppings but she enjoyed their burgers so yeah gave kebabs a try. Very disappointing. "The best dumplings I have had in a while. The filling is juicy with a lot of flavour. It’s a food truck in Methven. Look out for a purple food truck that’s open just a couple days a week! They also have some yummy ramen/noodle soup options. Perfect for when the winds pick up. Loved it!"
