"Tasting room is great fantastic staff. Wine is good quality. However the low star review is for the restaurant. We have not yet eaten here as when we did consider it, we were shocked by the markup on wine in the restaurant compared to their wine shop (which is a stone’s throw from the restaurant so it’s not like there’s transportation fees) Bottles of wine are 50% more in the restaurant. For the cost of an 8oz glass of wine in the restaurant, plus a couple dollars extra, you can buy a full bottle in the shop! It is absurd. Unsure of their tactic here."

"Went for a birthday dinner. The server was prompt . The restaurant wasn’t too busy but the food took a long time to be served. And our meals were served on ice cold plates . Everything was cold .The server was passively agressive and offered to take it back to the kitchen and reheat . The halibut was already dry and overcooked .We are told that they don’t heat their plates ever . So be prepared for cold food and overpriced ."

"This is a fab place to eat.... and the cocktails are wonderful as well. I have eaten at this fabulous restaurant through the complete luncheon menu. It has taken me nearly a year to do so, but each time I was never disappointed, ....not once. I ordered a Pimm 's 1 and it was not quite up to the bar, madam owner who makes a lovely Pimm 's 1 was not in the house, but the waiter called her and received an instruction, followed it and presented a very nice drink.I am sure he is practicing and will soon be as deft a hand as the lady owner. All details are observed in the restaurant, Even to the use of muslin covered lemon with the fish dishes. Most places in Vancouver do not use or know this is the correct way of serving a lemon half or wedge. So lets call it fine dining here, because it is fine dining."

"We were here Saturday July 9th for lunch. The two young women who served us had fantastic customer service all around! One gave us great advice: check out the Old Farm Market and the backroads to Bamfield (thank you!!! . Had the Frito Bandito Burrito... deadly good! Highly recommend you guys are awesome!"
